Melt Flow Indexer Standards:
ISO 1133, JG T5456, GB T9643, GB T3682
Melt Flow Indexer Working Principle:
Melt Flow Indexer makes the test material reach a molten state at a prescribed temperature in the high-temperature furnace. Such melt test material goes through a small hole of a specific diameter at a normative load, subjected to extrusion test. In the production of plastics, MFI is usually used to indicate the fluidity, viscosity, and other physical properties of polymers. Melt flow rate is expressed in the weight or volume of polymer per 10 minutes of the test or the average weight of each extruded material.
