TESTRON TT-HST1000 LPG Hydrogen Sulfide Tester is designed to determine the presence or absence of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The instrument provides a simple, reliable, and rapid testing method for evaluating LPG quality and ensuring compliance with relevant fuel specifications and safety requirements.

Using a lead acetate test strip, the instrument detects hydrogen sulfide at concentrations as low as 4 mg/m³. During the test, hydrogen sulfide reacts with the lead acetate paper, producing a characteristic discoloration that indicates its presence. If methyl mercaptan is present, it may cause a temporary yellow stain on the test strip; however, this discoloration disappears completely within 5 minutes and does not affect the test result. Other sulfur compounds commonly found in LPG do not interfere with the determination.
