A glass test tube is filled with two easily mixed solutions. The resulting mixture has a lower density at the top of the tube and a higher density at the bottom of the tube and varies in a linear ratio. A precisely calibrated glass float marker of known density is placed into this gradient column, and this glass float is suspended at the exact point that matches the density of the solution.

• Automatic Constant-Speed Collecting Device: By automatically and continuously lifting and lowering the sample at a constant speed (10mm/min), it reduces the disturbance to the density column, thereby extending the service life of the gradient column and lowering the measurement cost.
• External cold water circulation system, lowering the requirements for the operating environment of the equipment, temperature ranges from 15℃ to 40℃.
