Heat Seal Tester Standards:
ASTM F 2029
Heat Seal Tester Applications:
It is widely used in food industries, pharmaceutical industries, and packaging industries to test their packaging material and define packaging procedures for packaging operation and quality control of product packaging and products.
It can test a wide range of materials including plastic films, plastic composite films, paper-plastic composite films, aluminized films, aluminum foil, aluminum composite films, high barrier films, rigid films, stretch films, and many other materials like PET, OPP, CPP, LDPE, BOPP, etc.
It can also be used to evaluate heat sealing properties of engineering plastics, rubber, waterproofing materials, and thermal insulation materials. PP, PVC, PVDC, and nylon Packages: plastics, rubber, paper, paper-plastic composite, etc.
Heat Seal Tester Features:
- Precisely control of sealing variants (Temperature and Pressure) and its measurement with respect to time;
- Advanced PID Temperature controller ensures that that the pre-set temperature is reached quickly and without fluctuations.
- Independent heating control of upper and lower sealing elements with a separate indication of both temperatures.
- High-quality pneumatic cylinders ensure stable pressure on samples during the test.
- Multi-layer sample can also be tested precisely
- Easy operation and maintenance.
- Wide time setting range with adoptable time controller.
- The lower element is covered with a silicon pad to avoid sample material bonding with the heating element.
Operation
- Place the layers of material to be sealed between heating elements;
- Set the compressed air pressure for applying load;
- Set the estimated temperature for sealing for the upper heating element and lower heating element;
- Set the duration of the test
- Automatic completion of the test
