Application of TT-FNCT06 Full Notch Creep Tester
FNCT is used to determine the stress cracking resistance of polyethylene materials in any environment. A test specimen in the form of a square-section bar with coplanar notches in each face at the center is subjected to a static tensile load in a temperature-controlled environment. The time for this brittle failure to occur after loading is recorded.

Features of TT-FNCT06 Full Notch Creep Tester
- Electronic automatic loading system: servo controlling system is introduced to apply constant static load on sample.
- Independent working stations: each station has its independent controlling system; one station will not interfere with the others. Also, test baths can be performed at different temperatures.
- Bidirectional control mode: can be controlled by FNCT mainframe, as well as computer.
- High measuring precision: piecewise linear calibration method of the load sampling system guarantees the force of high precision & stability.
- Driving and loading method: chain soft connection is adopted, which avoid the disadvantage of rigid connection making damage to the bearings.
- Unique exhaust device: high temperature vapour will be exhausted in time.
- Data processing management: export test results to computer to analyze the test result, print out test report etc.
- Multi-protective functions guarantee operators’ safety.
Safeguard Devices
- Overload protection, when the test load is beyond 10% full range, it will stop working automatically.
- Each station is equipped with a currency protective device.
- Set up limit on software, to avoid the sample exceeding the max. tensile space, and foresee the toughness failure status of samples.
- Six individual baths are surrounded & insulated with special heat insulating material, largely increasing the temperature stability; Different test bath can be set at different temperatures; Electronic level control & intelligent water compensation technology make a constant concentration of surfactant solution, and avoid overflow occurs.
- Vapor can be exhausted from the Exhaust Device, protect the operator not from hurting while opening the cover.
- Special design of tensile grip, to avoid damage on sample
