Working Principle of TT-M6 Coefficient of Friction Tester
The test sample is secured to the test platform while a weighted slider wrapped with the same material is placed on its surface. The system applies a controlled
force to move the two surfaces relative to each other, and a high-precision force sensor continuously measures the resistance generated during movement. The instrument then automatically calculates and records the static coefficient of friction (COF) and dynamic coefficient of friction (COF), providing accurate evaluation of material slip and surface characteristics.
