This unit comprises a control system and a rubbing mechanism. The test specimen is fixed on a base covered with sandpaper using a sample holder. A rubbing head wrapped with white cotton cloth is then applied to the specimen surface.

After a specified number of rubbing cycles, the white cotton cloth is examined using a grey scale to evaluate the staining level. The results are used to assess the color fastness and surface coating stability of the fabric, providing reference data for evaluation and material selection.
