TESTON IVS series is a unique test instrument designed for fast and safe intrinsic viscosity (IV) measurement. It is designed according to ISO, ASTM, DIN and GB standards.
The system can directly calculate Intrinsic Viscosity of (polyethylene terephthalate) PET preform, granules, flakes and powder.

It takes about 4 steps for the PET Intrinsic viscosity measuring.
- Sample preparation: Prepare the solvent and sample by weighing on balance)
- PS: If the samples are preforms, place under liquid nitrogen then crush it into powder.
- Mix the sample with solvent and then place it in the sample dissolver.
- Pour the dissolved sample into the viscometer and start measuring.
- Wash the tubes after test.
Accessories: weight balance, sample dissolver, pipette machine, viscometer and oven are the important instruments.
