A scuff resistance tester is high-end testing equipment used for evaluating the quality of printed ink or paint/coating applied on test material. The equipment examines the retaining ability of the coating against continuous rubbing forces.
This equipment is intended to evaluate the Rub proofness of prints on paper or board. It can also be used to measure / evaluate Color Transfer from printed / coated surface during rubbing. The application can be extended for measurement of abrasion resistance of some Plastic materials / Aluminum Foils.
The Abraser is primarily used to evaluate the resistance of surfaces to rubbing abrasion. Specimens are mounted on a rotating turntable and subjected to the wearing action of two abrasive wheels, which are applied at a specific pressure. The severity of the test can be altered by using different wheels under different loads. The end point is either a visual change in appearance or a weight loss associated with material removed by abrasion.

Ink Abrasion Resistance Tester Features:
- Microcomputer control, LCD dynamic display.
- Testing parameters input by press key and having the memory function of an outage.
- Controlling and solving the problems of the proof grade of print ink abrasion resistance, low rub resistance.
- It is compatible with the PS version of a high-sensitive layer of abrasion resistance testing, analysis, and forecasting the PS version of the anti-print forces.
